The outline of this DIY.

Process for the renewal of the screen-printed glass of the front face a McIntosh MX112 amplifier. Creating a polycarbonate facade transparent and silkscreen made on a transparent A3 format film of 297 X 420 mm, with the help of an A3 printer.

Necessary,

A3 inkjet printer
Transparent polycarbonate sheet replacing glass
A3 Transparent Film for Inkjet Printer (297x420 mm)
RHODOID sheet of white color (white silkscreen)
Dusting bomb, cutter, chisel

To know,

The white color remains transparent to the printing, it is which allows with a green rhodoid leaf placed underneath to achieve a green backlight. For a white backlight, we place a white rhodoid film, for some inscriptions.

A polycarbonate sheet is cut with the cutter, pass at least 3 times the cutter, on your cut line. Place the pvc sheet at the end of a table and pressing hard and with a sharp blow, it must cut without burrs.

A dust bomb is very useful, even better than a cloth, when you place the polycarbonate sheet on the screen-printed sheet, watch out for dust!

If you have despite precautions, there is a scratch on the polycarbonate sheet, you can eliminate it with a polish car.

Be careful, when printing the transparent film, provide borderless printing (420 mm), and adjust the image size in (mm) in your photo software.
